Amy was born and raised in Nashville, specifically Hillsboro Village. Her father is also a native Nashvillian and both her parents have been active community servants and volunteers for over 40 years. Amy has resided in California, Hawaii, and Colorado but she was drawn back to her Nashville home in 1997, and now resides in the 12South neighborhood. Amy has always been passionate about music (voice, violin, flute and guitar), the performing and healing arts, and psychology. She is a certified psychotherapist and had a private practice in Boulder, Colorado. She has studied yoga since 1978 and has been teaching periodically since 1985.
At Village, Amy found a business culture that supports her lifelong commitment and contribution to progressive causes such as the Magdalene Project, the Bill Barnes Scholarship Program, and the Human Kindness Foundation. The Village Fund enables and matches her personal contributions. She has been practicing real estate since 1997 and continues to grow and learn with every transaction. The relationships that form along the way are the heart of her business. Her client base is 98% referral and she is extremely grateful for that.
